Make a Difference
NW Children’s Foundation’s administrative and fundraising costs are underwritten by our corporate sponsors, present and former Board members, and event tickets sales. So you can be confident your gift is at work where it’s most needed — programs aimed at ending the intergenerational cycle of child abuse, neglect and trauma.
Click here to donate today. When you make an individual gift to NW Children’s Foundation, 100% goes to ending the intergenerational cycle of abuse, trauma, and neglect.
Donating stock is a smart investment and a wonderful way to support NW Children’s Foundation in ending the intergenerational cycle of child abuse, neglect, and trauma.
If you have stock that you have owned for more than one year and it has appreciated since you purchased it, you may save on the capital gains tax you would owe if you sold it yourself by donating the stock to NW Children’s Foundation. Since NW Children’s Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization you may be entitled to an income tax deduction for the full current market value of your gift, to the extent allowed by law. Of course, consult with your financial planner, accountant or estate attorney to discuss your specific situation.

Gala + Auction
Our largest fundraiser, this festive celebration honors the work of our community’s child welfare
agencies and features exceptional food and wine, not to mention exciting silent and live auctions.
NWCF’s next Gala + Auction will take place on May 11, 2024. Learn more about sponsoring our Gala.
Forum
Our annual Forum brings together experts doing cutting-edge research to advance child welfare with practitioners who integrate that research into their work with at-risk children.
Our most recent Forum was on February 8, 2024. If you are interested in sponsoring our 2025 Forum, please contact us at office@nwcf.org.
Join in the work of NW Children’s Foundation by sharing your time and talent: Volunteer at our Annual Gala in May, in the office, on a committee, explore Board membership (more information here) or donate your services.

Hold Your Own Fundraiser / Friendraiser for NWCF
Here are just a few of the creative ways that others have found to support NWCF:
- Donate a percentage of sales for a day.
- Make NWCF your firm’s sponsored charity during the holidays.
- Run an exercise challenge, bake sale, movie night, golf tournament, or silent auction.
- Contribute to NWCF in lieu of sending holiday gifts to clients.
- Host your own house party to spread the word about NWCF (we will happily provide you with
tips and materials!)
