2015 Forum Explores Advances in Brain Science

On March 27, NWCF hosted its 2015 Forum: Childhood Adversity and the Developing Brain. Featuring keynote speaker Dr. Katie McLaughlin, assistant professor of child clinical psychology at the University of Washington and panelists from Childhaven, Hope Sparks Family Services and King County Sexual Assault Center (KCSAC), the Forum explored some of the most recent advances in neurobiological research and the implications of that research for healthy brain development in kids.
