OVER 30 YEARS,

NW Children’s Fund has become a leading voice in child
welfare—aligning resources, organizations and passionate
individuals committed to ending child abuse and neglect.

STRENGTHENING FRAGILE FAMILIES

One of our primary goals is to ensure that children have safe, healthy, stable home lives. To make that a reality, we support organizations that reach out to families facing challenges like homelessness, mental illness, substance abuse, and domestic violence—some of the strongest risk factors for child abuse and neglect. These programs include parenting education and training, support for caregivers, family centers, domestic violence shelters and others that give families the resources they need to parent effectively even in times of stress.
