APPLY FOR A GRANT

Interested in applying for a grant from NW Children’s Foundation? Here’s everything you need to know.

LETTER OF INQUIRY

Organizations are eligible to submit one Letter of Inquiry per year (for example, if you submit an LOI in the fall cycle and are not invited to apply, you must wait a full year until the next fall cycle to submit another LOI). 

NW Children’s Foundation requires prospective applicants to submit one electronic PDF copy (by email) of a Letter of Inquiry. The Letter of Inquiry should be no more than two single-spaced pages, formatted in 12-point type. Please use the following naming convention:

For LOIs submitted in September: [Organization Name]_W1819_LOI.pdf (e.g., Horizon Youth_W1819_ LOI.pdf)

For LOIs submitted in January: [Organization Name]_S19_LOI.pdf (e.g., Horizon Youth_W1819_ LOI.pdf

The Letter of Inquiry should include the following information:

NW Children’s Foundation will review all Letters of Inquiry and select the agencies that it will invite to submit a complete Grant Application. Only the selected agencies will participate in the full application and review process.
