Today’s Immigration Policy and Childhood Trauma

In the wake of our nation’s changing immigration policies, medical professionals have reported a spike in anxiety and distress in children from immigrant families. With the goal of bringing the community together to learn and improve solutions, NWCF hosted an interactive presentation in May, Immigration Policies and Childhood Adversity, featuring Dr. Michael McNeil, resident physician at Seattle Children’s Hospital, and Jorge Barón, executive director of the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project.
